Each year, the Grand Festival is part funded by contributions from the Board of Grand Stewards resulting in a very hefty subsidy for each and every ticket sold. This year's contribution is estimated to be in excess of £60,000.
We will come together for a reunion each year until there are too few of us left to celebrate, or we are too old and infirm to remember who we all are.
